Demolition of the Bryant Mill Power House

In 2008 the Bryant Mill Power House, the only mill building left standing at the giant Allied Paper Bryant Mill site, was demolished. This power house was built in 1924, so it lasted 84 years. Here are slide shows of photos taken during the demolition:   Demolition Slide Show 

On Wednesday 16th July, 2008 at 3:55pm the final two wall sections of the power house still standing were knocked down by the wrecking machine shown below. It was truly the end of the Allied Paper story in Kalamazoo.
